Today I am coming with new stuff from my makeup kit, a new eyeshadow palette and I am starting to think more and more about proms and parties, weddings, all that good stuff.
Summer is almost here, the sun is out (we very much appreciate the sun in London haha!) and good vibes are coming our way.
The new palette that I was talking about is the collaboration of Kim Kardashian West and her makeup artist and friend Mario Dedivanovic.
You like it or not, Kim Kardashian is a beauty icon of our times, the "contour queen" - I hear many negative things around me everytime I talk about her and despite of all the hate and mean comments, I appreciate this girl and her family in general.
So I am not a fan of her, but I do like her, I think she is a sweet girl and she looks dope everytime, having a great team to make that happen - Mario being part of it for more than 10 years.
When it comes to makeup artists, I can count my favourite ones from the whole wide world on one hand's fingers and Mario (@makeupbymario) is one of them. I love how humble he is and nice to everybody, and his way to do makeup - never too much, just elegant and perfect in my vision.
I purchased this palette because of him, I knew it will be quality and I thought I am using those colours all the time so definitly it won't be a waste.
Eyeshadows come in decent sizes and do exactly as they promise- to blend easily, especially the metallic ones they feel so nice! The star of the pallete is of course that blue (Libra), which brings out the fun side of those neutrals, and is a beautiful blue which I prefer to use it wet to get more intensity and to be honest was the colour that made me and many others excited for this palette.
What I didn't liked that much is the 2008 which I expected it to have same texture as the other metallics and bomb highlighter but in my opinion is kind of different and is the only eyeshadow I had fallout.
Another one that doesn't make a big difference to me is Decade, might be good as a transition colour for other skin tone but not mine.
I love all the other colours and I will use them a lot, by far probably Glam is my favourite.
Is it worth it? Well yes if you are a makeup artist and you don't have those shades. These are the type of eyeshadows easy to work with and you can use them on lots of skin tones. If you are not a MUA and you live in London like me or Europe, I am not sure if it's worth it to pay the taxes and everything to get it but I can tell you that are beautiful and you can apply them even with your finger.
